About
Your website speaks for you before you ever get the chance. We just make sure it says the right things.
Garfield built a whole personality on hating Mondays. We named a studio after liking them — because Monday is just the part of the week where the work actually starts.
Balanced Monday exists to make professional design available to the businesses that usually get priced out of it — dentists, contractors, salons, gyms — rather than reserving the good work for companies with an agency retainer.
Most small business websites were built once, years ago, by somebody's nephew. They load slowly, they don't work on a phone, and they don't show up when someone searches the thing the business actually does. The owner knows it. What stops them isn't the money — it's not knowing what it costs, how long it takes, or whether they'll be chased for another invoice in March.
So that is the whole model. One price, said out loud on a twenty-minute call. One pass of building. A live site in days, that you own outright.
The craft is in what you leave out.
Fewer words, chosen carefully. Space that lets the work breathe. A local business site does not need parallax, a video header, or a scroll-jacked story. It needs to load in under two seconds on a phone with two bars, say what the business does in the first line, and make the phone ring. Everything else is decoration charged by the hour.
A website should pay for itself quietly, week after week, like a good employee who never calls in sick.
Poetry makes the world more beautiful, but engineering is what took us to the moon.
We build with modern tooling and we're straightforward about it — no claims about hand-crafted artisanal code. What you are paying for is judgment: knowing what to leave out, and knowing what Google needs in order to find you.
Three moving parts
How it works
01
Call
Fifteen minutes to learn the business. You leave the call with the price.
02
Send
One short form and a photo folder. That is everything we need.
03
Launch
Build, review together on a reveal call, and go live.
